A TASTE OF FAITH
at the Venice United Church of Christ

This Program started out last year as "Reunion at the Well", the fundraising event for the Senior Friendship Center’s Friendship At Home/Faith In Action program. The buffet was such a success in 2005 that we decided to place more emphasis on the food and entertainment in 2006 with the theme: Neighbors Helping Neighbors.
Members from all the Venice faith communities presented food from their faith traditions. Entertainment was provided by members of the Venice High School Choir, the Muslim Community of Southwest Florida, the Johnson Memorial Baptist Church choir, the Epiphany bell choir, the Jewish Center-Venice, the Baha’i Faith and the SunCoast Cathedral MCC among others.
A 'Taste of Faith' was organized by the Venice Interfaith Community Association (VICA) and Faith in Action member churches.
